Labrador Iced Coffee brings together the depth of drip coffee and the aromatic richness of La Gitane. The slow infusion of plants adds a warm complexity that gently contrasts with the freshness of iced coffee. A bold yet balanced beverage, perfect for those who enjoy exploring flavours in new ways.
Ingredients
½ cup La Gitane herbal tea, infused and cooled
1 cup cold drip coffee
¼ cup milk, dairy or plant-based
2 ½ tbsp sugar or maple syrup
1 handful of ice cubes
Optional alcoholic version
1 oz liqueur cream of your choice
Preparation
Infuse 1 tsp La Gitane herbal tea in simmering water for 20 minutes. Strain and allow to cool.
Prepare the drip coffee and let it cool completely.
Combine the cooled herbal infusion, coffee, milk and sweetener.
Add the ice cubes and stir well, or blend for a smoother texture.
Add the liqueur cream if desired and serve immediately.
Tip
For a more intense flavour, prepare coffee ice cubes to prevent dilution as they melt.
