Labrador tea

Labrador tea is known for its antibiotic, antiseptic, and antiparasitic properties. It is therefore helpful in fighting colds, flu, and infections. It supports wound healing and helps clear the respiratory tract. It is also a calming plant rich in tannins and antioxidants.

Raspberry leaf

Raspberry leaves are used as a general tonic. They are nutritious and rich in vitamins and minerals. They are particularly beneficial for women, known to help regulate the menstrual cycle and flow, tone the uterus, and support the overall health of the female reproductive system.

Elderberries

Elderberries are traditionally used to help fight the flu. Known for their antiviral and antibiotic properties, they help clear the respiratory tract and may reduce flu symptoms such as fever, headaches, nasal congestion, and body aches.

Balsam fir

Balsam fir is rich in vitamin C and is known for its antiviral and antibacterial properties. It is used to help fight infections such as colds and flu. It has a decongestant effect that can help with lung issues, bronchitis, and sinusitis. It helps loosen mucus in the lungs and supports the cleansing of the blood and lymph.

The story behind this herbal tea

Du Sourcier takes its name from a longtime friend who once came to us with a request to create a herbal tea just for him using certain plants. It is to this friend, a dowser for generations, that we owe this herbal tea.

But what exactly is a dowser? After naming this herbal tea in his honor, we realized that few people truly know what the word means, often confusing it with a sorcerer. A dowser has nothing in common with a sorcerer, even though the words may sound similar. A dowser is most often a man with the instinctive ability to locate water sources, often underground. The tools of the dowser, sometimes better known than the person himself, consist of his natural gift and a dowsing rod, traditionally made from hazel wood and shaped like a Y, which helps him determine the exact location of the water source.
