The story behind this herbal tea
Du Sourcier takes its name from a longtime friend who once came to us with a request to create a herbal tea just for him using certain plants. It is to this friend, a dowser for generations, that we owe this herbal tea.
But what exactly is a dowser? After naming this herbal tea in his honor, we realized that few people truly know what the word means, often confusing it with a sorcerer. A dowser has nothing in common with a sorcerer, even though the words may sound similar. A dowser is most often a man with the instinctive ability to locate water sources, often underground. The tools of the dowser, sometimes better known than the person himself, consist of his natural gift and a dowsing rod, traditionally made from hazel wood and shaped like a Y, which helps him determine the exact location of the water source.
