La Gitane Iced Chai

Iced chai reveals a brighter side of La Gitane. Still prepared according to the traditional method passed down to us, this refreshing version preserves the depth of spices and plants while offering a smooth and thirst-quenching texture. A summer way to enjoy this classic, reimagined with local plants.
Ingredients
1 tsp La Gitane herbal tea
½ cup water
½ cup milk, dairy or plant-based
2 tsp sugar or maple syrup
Ice cubes
Preparation
Place all ingredients, except the ice cubes, in a small saucepan.
Heat over very low heat for 20 to 30 minutes, without bringing to a boil.
Strain and allow to cool completely in the refrigerator.
Pour over ice cubes and serve.
Enjoy!
Tip
For an even creamier texture, lightly froth the milk before adding it, or blend the chilled mixture for a few seconds before serving.
