Fireweed Velouthé Latte

Our Fireweed Velouthé Latte is our boreal interpretation of the traditional matcha latte. Its fine, velvety powder, crafted from Québec-grown fireweed, blends beautifully with warm milk to create a soft, enveloping and naturally comforting beverage.

A simple, local way to rediscover the plants of our land, in a quiet moment of warmth and calm.

Instructions

• Add 1 tsp Fireweed Velouthé powder to a cup.

• Add 1 tsp sugar, adjust to taste.

• Pour in ¾ cup hot water.

• Add ¼ cup milk of your choice, dairy or plant-based.

• Mix well and enjoy.

Tip

Whisking the Velouthé with a matcha whisk, a small kitchen whisk or an electric matcha frother is especially effective to help the powder dissolve smoothly.
