Our Illustrator, Marie-Ève Turgeon
A self-taught illustrator, Marie-Ève Turgeon draws her inspiration from nature, simplicity, and the gentle rhythm of country life. She lives surrounded by forest, near a lake, in an environment that nourishes both her imagination and her need to create.
Mother of two boys, she chose to slow down during their early years in order to embrace a life rooted in daily moments, time, and nature. Drawing has always been part of her life, but only recently did she take the step of making it her full-time profession. Today, she fully embraces her identity as an illustrator and lives her passion with pride.
Her journey, shaped by deep sensitivity and a singular vision of the world, gives rise to artwork that is profoundly human, intuitive, and rich in meaning.
A Meeting That Felt Meant to Be
We discovered Marie-Ève’s work during a deeply meaningful moment in our lives. At a farewell ceremony held in honour of someone dear to us, her illustrations immediately caught our attention through their strength, authenticity, and emotional depth.
When the time came to illustrate our herbal infusions, her name naturally came to mind. After a few conversations about the plants, the intentions behind each blend, and their names, we entrusted her with complete creative freedom.
The first illustration, Clair de Lune, was an instant favourite. From that point on, each of her creations has translated, with remarkable precision, the story and soul of our infusions, often beyond what we could have expressed in words.
Today, her visual signature is an integral part of the Domaine Botania universe, and we place our full trust in her talent to accompany the creations yet to come.
